Meet the robot that washes people’s hair

Creation identifies head shape and haircut to suit the best washing procedure

A robot able to wash people’s hair was presented during an exhibition in Tokyo. However, it is not a robot that releases a simple jet of water, but rather 16 “fingers” that massage people’s heads.
In addition, depending on the current hair cut (long, short, fringe, etc.) and also the head shape, the robot is programmed for a different wash that is identified by a 3D scanner.
